When buying a kettle for your kitchen you can choose from electric and non-electric kettles.
When you decide to buy your next kettle the power and speed of boiling are key. The slowest the kettles can add up to significantly more time and energy used when boiling water. The power of kettles generally ranges from 1kW to 3kW or 1000 Watts to 3000 Watts.
Staall Tip: Generally, the more powerful the kettle, the faster it is to boil but also the higher the price too.
All kettles make some noise when boiling water and many include beeping noises to let you know when your water is done as well., but kettles with a higher wattage tend to be much noisier.
For quieter kettles you should choose models approved by the Quiet Mark or that have a Quiet Boil feature.
Usually, the regular kettles water capacity is between 0.5 litres, 1 litre, 1.5 litres, 1.7 litres and 2 litres of water.
